June 2025 – Shomolu Area
A two-storey structure under construction on Craig Street, off Apata Road, experienced a collapse during the concrete casting stage. Fortunately, all workers and nearby individuals were evacuated on time, and there were no reported injuries.
✔April 2025 – Ojodu-Berger
A multi-storey building located on Oremeta Street collapsed in the morning hours. Emergency teams conducted search and rescue operations, resulting in the recovery of several individuals. Some were treated for minor injuries, while a few fatalities were confirmed.
✔March 2025 – Ajah (Lekki-Epe Expressway)
A two-storey building under construction near Oriwu Estate in the Ajah area experienced a collapse. Emergency responders arrived promptly, rescuing multiple people and transporting them to nearby hospitals. A small number of casualties were later confirmed.
✔January 2025 – Chevron Area
Another two-storey building under construction in the Northern Vulture Estate area collapsed, resulting in a few injuries and loss of life. Rescue efforts ensured that survivors received timely medical attention.
